There are a variety of events and entertainment throughout the year. Besides the many Quiz Nights and other fund-raising events by the local clubs and societies, there are a number of traditional/annual events.

The Scarecrow Festival

Every June, the village hosts the annual Scarecrow Festival. Scarecrows pop up everywhere and many of the villagers open their gardens to visitors. There are numerous stalls around the village and several homes offer refreshments along the way.

The Pantomime

February half term heralds the return of the annual pantomime performed by Take Your SEAT.
