Queens Diamond Jubliee Meeting 10th January: MINUTES

Minutes of last meeting were reviewed, one amendment, cost of the disco is £200 including refreshments.

Collection with Brackley Round Table – thank you to all who helped, we raised £324.24

Updates on costings – please see excel spreadsheet. £2000 total to be spent

Event funding – £1000 from Parish Council

£50 from Village Hall

£324.24 from Round Table

£175 from Sports Club

A letter is to be drafted to all village organizations to ask for a donation. C Munsey and L Sambrook Smith to prepare and send prior to next meeting.

Insurance cover – school does not have insurance to cover the Big Lunch event, they rely on the Friends to insure the May Day event. Check if the Village Hall insurance can be used.

Bank account update – Barclays forms received, to be completed.

Poster update – K Watts not present. Poster to be designed by the committee?

Any other business – ask G Dixon if it possible to have the centre pages of the Syresham Times about the Diamond Jubilee, and ask volunteers to attend the next meeting if possible.
