Wappenham Road Closure on the 11th July

Western Power are requiring to close a short section of the above road between the junctions with Church End to allow for the safe trimming of trees from overhead power lines. It is expected that this will take one day to complete and will take place on the 11th July 2017.

A43 Road closure for emergency repairs

The road will be closed between Syresham and Wood Burcote in both directions between the 19th June and the 4th July between 8pm and 6am. Please see attached file for details

Pimlico Light Railway

Pimlico Light Railway (in Syresham Parish) celebrated its 10th Anniversary in 2016 and is hugely popular. Even though its only open from 3-5pm on the fourth Sunday of the summer months, it attracts around 800 passengers per year.

Public running days are Sundays May 28th; June 25th; July 23rd; August 27th and September 24th (unless wet)

Tesco Bags of Help Grant

The Parish Council were successfully awarded £1000 towards the project to replace the bark chippings in the Swingfield. As you can see the bark is now replaced and the areas backfilled with topsoil and grass seed. The Swingfield is open and areas not marked off with red and white tape can be used, however please keep off the newly seeded areas until the tape is removed.
